Clean Production Action

Our Green Workforce Training program prepares adults for emerging careers in the clean energy and environmental sectors.
Participants receive hands-on training in environmental health, solar installation, hazard containment, and essential workforce skills—creating pathways to stable employment and long-term economic mobility.
We advance equitable access to clean air, safe water, healthy land, and climate resilience in frontline communities. Through advocacy, education, and community-driven solutions—including climate preparedness and food sovereignty initiatives—we work to ensure that no community bears a disproportionate environmental burden.
We believe in building from the ground up, sharing power, and uplifting our community through righteous and intentional action.
We hold ourselves accountable to one another, taking shared responsibility for our decisions, our progress, and the well-being of our community.
We commit to honesty, clarity, and transparency in all we do, walking in truth and aligning our actions with our highest principles.
We honor every person’s worth, embracing inclusive leadership and ensuring that all voices are treated with respect and fairness.
We strive toward a collective purpose, planning together and moving with intention toward a future rooted in balance and meaning.
We prioritize unity, working together in harmony and building strong relationships grounded in mutual support and collaboration.
We stand for fairness and equity in all systems, challenging injustice and ensuring that our work creates balance, justice, and opportunity for all.
We embrace creativity as a force for transformation, using innovation, culture, and imagination to strengthen and sustain our community.
We honor ancestral traditions, cultural identity, and the sacred connection between people and the Earth as essential foundations for resilience. Through intergenerational learning, cultural preservation, and community healing practices, we strengthen the spiritual roots of environmental justice.
For more than three decades, Harambee House has cultivated the next generation of leaders through youth development rooted in environmental justice, civic engagement, and cultural pride. Our Youth Leadership program equips young people with the knowledge, confidence, and organizing skills to advocate for their communities and shape a more just future.
